Yavapai County Search and Rescue workers located Gerlean Langford at approximately 9:30 p.m. Saturday near Willow Lake in Prescott.
She was treated by the Prescott Fire Department for minor injuries she sustained due to a fall, but was in good condition, according to a police press release.
County search and rescue team Alan and Carol White and search dog Nala found Langford.
The Prescott Police Department would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Yavapai County Sheriffs Office, the Yavapai County Search and Rescue team, and the many other public safety professionals who assisted in the safe recovery of this Prescott resident.
The Prescott Police Department is seeking the help of the public to locate and check the welfare of an elderly female with dementia.
Gerlean Mae Langford is an 86-year-old white female with advanced Alzheimer’s. She was last seen at approximately 6 p.m. Saturday at the Mountain View Manor care facility, at 1045 Sandretto Drive in Prescott.
She is described as being approximately 5’2”, 135 pounds, with short white hair, wearing a long-sleeved white shirt with a floral pattern and black pants. Gerlean is an avid walker and is extremely social.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Gerlean and checking her welfare. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Prescott Police Department at (928) 777-1900 or call 9-1-1.
